We enjoy eating at Pastel and adore Hallel Tavakuli’s fresh cooking. We were delighted to collaborate with him to create a cocktail meal with several American businessmen visiting Israel. Assaf Torrez created a classical, special event, and together with Hallel we served countless Mediterranean dishes. Hallel’s cooking was exciting, focusing on fish, cheese, vegetables and fresh herbs. The dishes were beautiful, each one thought-out. 300 guests received thousands of appetizers made by chefs and served by waiters. For an evening, the museum transformed into an amazing restaurant. Assaf, with his great talent, quietly created a breathtaking event which brought together ministers, generals, and businessmen from all over the globe. Seeing businessmen in action was interesting and fun.
